Grub Control

Grubs are the larvae of beetles (primarily European Chafer and June Bug) that live underground in the root zone and feed on grass roots from below. By the time you see dead brown patches on the surface, the roots underneath are already destroyed. Our application is timed precisely to when grubs are most vulnerable.

• Brown patches that don’t respond to watering
• Turf that feels spongy or lifts away like a loose carpet
• Skunks, raccoons or birds digging up sections of lawn
• Patches that appear suddenly in late summer or early fall

Chinchbug Control

Chinchbugs are tiny surface insects that pierce grass blades and suck out the moisture, essentially dehydrating your grass from the outside in. They thrive in hot, dry conditions and spread rapidly. Most homeowners mistake the damage for drought and water more — which doesn’t help, because the problem is insects, not lack of water.

• Irregular patches of yellow or straw-coloured grass in sunny areas
• Damage that looks like drought but doesn’t improve with watering
• Damage spreading outward from hot, sunny areas of the lawn
